Every year since Josh and I got married (so the past 9 years) we have spent the Saturday of the 24th at the Mendon Celebration with his family. His mom does a Navajo Taco stand and uses us as slave labor. I used to hate it, but I have come to the conclusion that it is just part of being a Kirk. This year we had the stomach flu on Friday night and Saturday morning so we were not able to attend. When the alternitive is a house of sick people I REALLY wish we could have been there with the Kirks. We did make it out in time for the fireworks and in time to use up a box of glow sticks.

Carrie I am wondering who came up with those devilish plans because I am certain it wasn't Emi either! ;) They do have so much fun! I miss your family when I leave.
Mom really wants the grandkids to love exploreing new things out side. It was great to have the whole family home. LUV YA'
Glow sticks?! I'm totally doing that next year instead of sparklers. We had a few little burns and too many close calls with Elyse's hair. You're one smart mama! Love the last pic of Ali!
Love the pic of Cara with the glow sticks. Awesome. Looks like summer is going well. Love ya.
Carrie, these pictures with the glow sticks are amazing.
